West-East Gas Pipeline
The gas pipeline, one of the four large infrastructure projects in China's 10th Five-Year Plan (2001-05), will transport clean fuel from Xinjiang to the energy-hungry Yangtze River Delta. The pipeline is constructed and owned by Petro China Co.
The entire pipeline has been completed in September 2004, and has commenced commercial service at the end of 2004.
