It will be just a matter of days before the Chinese authorities and WHO pronounce the good news.


SARS has ended in China ! [June 24, 2003]

Yes.
At a joint news conference in Beijing by WHO and MHO, all of China is declared to be SARS free.


Is SARS confined to China and under control? [June 6, 2003]

Yes.
Fewer than 10 cases daily in all of Mainland for ten consecutive days.
Zero new cases in all of Mainland June 2, 2002
All of Mainland's new SARS cases dropped to just 1 on May 31.


Is SARS confined to China and under control? [May 9, 2003]

The latest report just issued by WHO on May 8,2003 gave the following statistics:

So far, 98.3% of the VARS cases are in China.

The Chinese authorities has been reporting daily statistics. These are consistent with the data from WHO.
