Chinese New Year is the busiest time for our web site China the Beautiful. Number of viewers increases by 100-fold!
One year ago, the statistics show the following:

There were nearly 50,000 page views in one day.
This year the traffic increased again:
We had 1/4 million page views on the New Year's Day.
My ISP has struggled to keep up, and downloading was slow at
times. |

Chinese New Year's Day is always the busiest day of the year, with many visitors logging on to our web site. Year after year, the volume peak
gets bigger.
On February 9, 2005, there are 600,000 page views in just one day. This
is about twice the last year's peak volume.
Our new hosting computer handled the traffic without any problems. |

On January 29,2006, there were more than 621,900 page views.
4,869,000 page views in January, 2006.
Hopefully we will expand again as more and more people
get on the web worldwide.
