|
|
I have a chinese silk screen that I framed and I believe the framer placed it upside down. I can't tell from the content of the scene (flowers and dragnfly in flight ) and I cannot read chinese. I think the signature should be on the right side with the red seal underneath the signature. The framer has placed the signature on the left side which puts the seal on top of the signature. Can one ascertain if it is framed upside down by the position of the signature and the seal?
Thank you.
I have found the answer by seeking out a chinese person and having them read the text. The answer is: the signature to the right , with seal on the bottom.
Thank you for your efforts.

The sure and the easy way is to read the Chinese on the screen.
Go to http://www.chinapage.com/discuss.html
for detailed instruction on how to post a photo to the Internet.
After you post the photo, come back here with your question again. |
