Lapsed

Golden nails start to fade with the flesh color
My fingers seem to tremble as it lingers
Down memory lane when you are still a whisper away
When you've been vindicated for a play.

Tongues are running out of poetic lines
The keyboard letters were glistening with the light of the sun
Each type of word means something being deducted
That there will be no cure for it to be mended.

Desolation is the compensation I received
For all the emotions I freely rendered
Showering you with the utmost attention
While fooling myself that you'll give something in return.

Yet getting used to that sweet mud I'm sunken
Has been a picture of an unmoving train
Taking a leap has been out of my vocabulary
I've been soaked to this bubbles of misery.

The Man of Steel will turn to rust but not this
The anonymous something that sips away my bliss
Its peculiarity bombs and eat me as a whole
I am easily drowning like a loser asshole.

Green fields begin to appear purplish
Because it mirrors the paradise that has tarnished
My world is now a portrait of ransacked backyard
Like a girl teary when her mother lied.

But dear, I am not a robot who don't get tired
Things change even those I soulfully desired
We are just unfortunate to realize it this late
That you do like me when I learn to hate.

Burn me to death but I think its irrevocable
Don't haunt me for it also cause my heart to shuffle
I've gamble all in my hand while you're oblivious
Been risking my all, I was never cautious.

damned when I surpass all the longings
That will end up to a bunch of nothing
Was bare and naked before the flashing reality
We are not to be together until eternity.

Keeping abreast with all the agony
that was caused by self-admitted hypocrisy
It was the acrid taste of having to let go of a drug
My addiction to you brought my entity to sag.

The biting strikes of solitude has been so rampant
For it to cease I have to stop my being adamant
I'll gain nothing from this but losing who I am
I just want this to lapse, just don't know if I can.

Unspoken

Words trickle like droplets of rain in my mind,
And descend as far as the tip of my tongue before they....evaporate.
I do not know not where to begin.
I dare not act in exact character,
Or articulate by true self definition.
From fear that you would run away,
Like the rest,
I have placed this judgement upon you.
Yet, when you smile at me,
I'm pulled into your gravity.
I forget what I think,
So I smile back.
Then, for a moment, I finally make out a complete sentence,
Noun, verb, and even an ending punctuation
To only be forced back into earth's gravity,
Back into society.
So, I refrain my thought
And remain silent...

Beautoful poem by chinese poet kuan tao-sheng’s words about love in married life. she lived from 1262 to 1319 but her words are timeless:

you and i
have so much love,
that it
burns like a fire,
in which we bake a lump of clay
molded into a figure of you
and a figure of me.
then we take both of them,
and break them into pieces,
and mix the pieces with water,
and mold again a figure of you,
and a figure of me.
i am in your clay.
you are in my clay.
in life we share a single quilt.
in death we will share one coffin.

What good is love.

I waited for your love in hope,
That ours would come again,
And make me feel the things I felt,
When we were one, back then.

But time and distance have erased,
The things I wished anew,
And now I find myself alone,
Though I am here with you.

What good is love, that does not touch,
What good is love, that gives you pain.
What good is love, that makes you run,
And makes you lost out in the rain.

I traveled to another world,
Out far beyond the one we knew,
I thought that I could live again,
And now I find I'm back with you.

But what of hearts that beat as one,
And what of passion and embrace,
Is it too much to ask of you,
To make these tears of mine erase.

What good is love, that does not touch,
What good is love, that gives you pain.
What good is love, that makes you run,
And makes you lost out in the rain.

Too painful this - to journey back,
To times of love and laughter free,
The times we lay together with
A sense of you , a sense of me.

So now, I journey on alone,
Forever wandering, in my thoughts,
And I shall ask you once again,
What good is love.
-------------
Love is not just a word. If the expression of love is not there in all its expressed senses, then it is not what Love should be.

In this world full of hurt and pain,
I need someone who would help me through the rain.
To comfort me when Im sad,
Doing everything just to make me glad.

In this world I need a Brave Knight,
Who would never give up any fight.
A knight who would dry away my tears,
Telling me to overcome my fears.

A knight who loves me for who I am inside,
With him there's nothing more I need to hide.
A person who will still be standing strong,
Eventhough everything has gone wrong.

I need someone who is willing to give me more,
Someone I can call my Knight In Shining Armor.
