Parrots 鹦鹉 are popular birds kept as pets by the Chinese for
many years.

We know, because it is mentioned in many poems dating back
to Tang, Song and Qing dynasties

It is not clear whether they are native birds, or imported
from the South of China.

They used to live in Ningxia, Gansu on the cliffs. But were driven out or overhunted for years.

The Asian parrots have a ring on the neck.
The African parrots are grey.
The Macaws of Central and south America are the biggest.
The white cockatoos only live in Australasia.

They are the most interesting birds of all.

Definitely, all birds has their unique identity. It is an interesting information to know about the different specialty of the relevant birds. I am appreciated to share the valuable information.
