The Chinese businessmen are going to have the meetings and conduct the talks with the top executives and ~ spammer ~ of the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan. The Chinese and Turkmen ~ spammer ~ will conduct a joint survey of gas deposits on the right bank of the Amu Darya River. The partners are to work out the practical measures to implement the General Agreement between the government of Turkmenistan and the government of the People’s Republic of China on the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline and supply of Turkmen natural gas to the People’s Republic of China signed by President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov and PRC President Hu Jintao on April 3, 2006. This is a map of Turkmenistan.
The gas reserve is on the right bank of Amudarya River,
which is near the western border of Turkmenistan. Look carefully.
At the present time, there are 5 possible routes for the gas
pipeline. |

Turkmenstan is quite far away from China. Any pipeline must
traverse through other countries. Look at this map.
Unlike the Kazakhstan-China pipeline (in green color) which was
just completed and opened last month, any Turkmenstan-China pipelines
will take several years to build and will cost a lot of money. |
