Droughts affect 10 million in China

China suffers both flood and drought since the beginning of time.

Yangzi River's flood is severe but did not kill many people, thanks
to the 3 Gorges Dam.

A major project, costing more money than even the 3 Gorges Dam,
has been under construction to provide more water for the North
China. It will take ten years to complete.
