Sunic-AirPol Receives Two Power Plant Scrubber Orders in China
Coal-fired electric power plants emit pollutions into air through its smoke stacks. To reduce pollution, one can add scrubbers to clean the air before it is discharged into the atmosphere.
PARSIPPANY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 2004--MPM Technologies, Inc. (OTC:MPML) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary AirPol, Inc., through its Beijing China subsidiary, Sunic-AirPol Environmental Technologies Corp, has been selected for the supply of engineering and key components for electric power plant scrubbers. These scrubbers will be the largest magnesium based utility Flue Gas Desulfurization (MgO FGD) plants ever built in China.
